P&G Thank You Mom

I know that if I couldn't see my Mom very often it would make me really sad.  A lot of adults move away after they grow up and for reasons out of their control they are not able to see their Moms for years at a time.  I know if that was my Mom she would be heartbroken.  Proctor and Gamble is having a contest to help reunite Moms and their children. 

"Procter & Gamble, continues to celebrate moms everywhere with "Thank You Mom Reunions", a nationwide contest to reunite Moms and their children for milestone family moments like graduations and birthdays which they otherwise might have missed. 

 

Each month thru November, P&G is providing the opportunity for 15 lucky Moms to travel home to share a memory with family.

 

Since Mother's Day, participants have been submitting their stories online to be considered for a reunion with their Mom or Mother figure for the June contest.  Thirty finalists have been selected and voting begins NOW! 

 

Deposit some tokens in the good karma piggy bank and vote for the person you think deserves to be reunited with their Mom for a special milestone event.  Click here to cast your vote.  You can only vote once a day, so keep going back to vote for your favorite.  Voting ends for this period 11:59:59 ET June 30, 2010."

The contest details are: 

• Proctor & Gamble continues to celebrate moms everywhere with "Thank You Mom Reunions", a nationwide contest to reunite Moms and their children for milestone family moments like graduations and birthdays they otherwise might have missed.

• “Thank You Mom Reunions” will bring together 105 moms with their children, who are unable to do so on their own.  (15 per month for a 10 month campaign.)

• Since Mother's Day, participants have been submitting their stories online to be considered for a reunion with their mom or mother figure for the June contest.  Thirty finalists have been selected and consumers will choose the 15 winners.

• Winners will receive a $1000 travel voucher and portable digital video camera to capture their reunion and are encouraged to share the video on ThankYouMom.com

Trying to get to Relevant 2010

I started a couple of weeks ago trying to figure out how I can come up with the money go to Relevant '10. 

I have been a "Fan/Like" Country Bob's on Facebook for a while now.  My husband started using the sauce because it is Gluten Free, then some of my blogs that I follow started doing reviews and giveaway's for them. When they posted that they where going to be giving away a ticket to Relevant I wrote back on Twitter and said "@countrybobs I will keep a close eye on it that is for sure :) Ty for being a sponsor." They where letting us know that they where about to post how to win.  I was like wow baby this would help so much being able to go to Relevant.  My hubby he just laughed and said okay hun.  


I want to go to Relevant for a couple of reasons.  They are in no particular order.  I want to go to Harrisburg and see if it really smells like Chocolate up there.  Oh I might just faint if it really did because that would be something else to breathe the air and smell the chocolate. hehe.  I also want to surround myself with Christian bloggers.  I want to make my blogging more for the Lord and not just for myself.  I want to learn more about blogging and be able to grow my blog so that it is a fun place for my followers to come to.  I feel that Relevant will help me learn and grow with other Christians and be where God wants me to be.
